READY PLAYER GUILD

PRIVACY

Last changed 30 October 2026.

This covers everything on readyplayer.app: the game, the migrate, avatar and Forge pages, and the Ready Player Roles bot in our Discord server. It says what we keep about you, why, who else sees it, and how to have it deleted. We don't sell it, we don't show you ads, and there are no tracking or analytics cookies anywhere.

WHO WE ARE

Ready Player Guild is run by Uncle Mac, M3 and Chipm0nkey. To ask about your data, or to have it deleted, message @readyplayergld on X or the Support Team in our Discord server.

WHAT WE KEEP

When you sign in with a wallet

The game and the avatar, Forge and admin pages sign you in by having your wallet sign a message. That costs nothing and sends nothing. The first time a wallet signs in, that message also says you are 13 or older and that you agree to this page, and we keep the signature so you aren't asked again. We also keep your wallet address, the sign-in session, your game saves and progress, and the avatar pieces you forge or wear. Your browser keeps the session so you stay signed in.

When you verify in Discord

The Ready Player Roles bot gives holder roles to members whose wallets hold our collections. When you use /verify, it keeps:

It reads the blockchains for what your wallets hold. It doesn't read your messages, and it doesn't see your email address.

Logs and bug reports

Our servers log what they do, so we can fix things. A log line may name your wallet. It never holds your IP address: only a salted hash of it, which can't be turned back into the address. Debug lines are deleted after three days, routine ones after fourteen, and the rest after ninety. If you send a bug report from the game, we keep what you wrote, the screenshot it took, and which save it came from.

What we don't keep

Your name, email address, phone number, IP address or any payment details.

WHY

We use it only to run what you asked for: signing you in, saving your game, giving and taking back your holder roles as your wallets change, and keeping the game fair, for example by stopping someone claiming a token twice. Under UK and EU data protection law, that's to provide the service you use, and our legitimate interest in keeping it working and free of abuse.

BLOCKCHAINS ARE PUBLIC

Wallet addresses, what they hold, and every transfer are public on the blockchain for anyone to read, and nobody can delete them. What we hold privately is which Discord account and which game saves go with a wallet. That's what we delete when you ask.

WHO ELSE SEES IT

Each of these handles data only to run its part of the service. We don't share your data with anyone else, unless the law makes us.

HOW IT'S KEPT SAFE

The database is encrypted on disk (AES-256), backups included. Everything between your browser, our servers and Discord is encrypted in transit, and our servers reach the database over Render's private network. The one-time links the bot gives you are stored only as a fingerprint (a hash), so a copy of the database can't be used to verify as you. Only named admins can open the admin pages.

HOW LONG

The bot keeps your linked wallets until you unlink them or ask it to forget you. If you unlink every wallet, it stops checking you and deletes its record of what you hold, but its log of past changes stays until you use /forget. /forget also deletes the signature that each of those wallets is 13 or older. A wallet that only ever signed in to the game keeps that signature until you ask us to delete your game data. Game saves are kept until you ask us to delete them. Logs go on the schedule above.

YOUR RIGHTS

CHILDREN

Ready Player Guild isn't for anyone under 13, and Discord's own rules require its users to be at least 13. The first time a wallet signs in, on the game, the avatar page, the Forge or the roles pages, you're asked. If you say you're 13 or older, the message your wallet signs says so, and that you agree to this page, and we keep that signature so you aren't asked again on any of them. If you say you're under 13, you're stopped: nothing is signed and nothing about you is kept. The migrate page doesn't sign you in, so it asks the same question and remembers the answer on that device.

CHANGES

If this page changes, its date at the top changes too, and we'll say so in the Discord server.
